This course gives a practical introduction to Novell's NDS.

It places emphasis on practical real life scenarios and problems, so is better suited to those delegates who wish to gain a practical knowledge of how to design and use NDS, rather than those delegates who simply wish to pass exams.

Topics covered include:

NDS design - from small to large trees (including alias, profile & map objects)
Using NDS monitoring tools such as DSTrace, DSView, DSRepair, NDS Manager and other third-party tools
Interpreting error messages
Fixing problems
Disaster recovery
Time issues
